Crownwoodies should begin to prepare for the road work that is coming to your street in the near future. If you have cars, trucks, RVS, or trailers parked in your driveway that extend over the driveway apron/sidewalk or are parked in the street at the curb, you will need to move these cars in another location when work begins. FRIENDLY REMINDER: Your front yard is NOT recommended for parking these vehicles. Remember, your sewer and water lines are running through your front yard and the extra weight might lead to expensive repairs.
In addition, keep in mind that the project includes the installation of 5 foot wide sidewalks. This means that they will be cutting in further into your front yard because the existing walkways are less than 5 foot wide. If you have shrubs and flowerbeds that run along the sidewalks, these will be removed to make room for the new ones.
One of the healthiest and most magnificent lawns over the years is cared for by Frank Vitale. How does he maintain such a beautiful yard? The secret is in the sprayer he regularly uses after mowing his lawn.
You too can have a gorgeous yard by following this easy recipe.
In a hose-end sprayer add:
1 old golf ball
1 can cheap beer
4 oz. lemon dish soap
Fill the rest of the sprayer with lemon ammonia
Apply within 24 hours of cutting your lawn & AFTER it has been watered.
Most of the front lawns in Crownwood will require 2 to 3 sprayer full each time the elixir is applied.
Crownwood Subdivision is HOME, SWEET, HOME!
Volunteers are so very appreciated.
